As the driving force behind Almoayyed International Group (AIG) the holding company of ACME, established in 1979 Mr. Farouk Almoayyed transformed what began as an entrepreneurial endeavour into a diversified conglomerate spanning technology, engineering, and real estate. His customer-first philosophy and approachable leadership style created a culture where people felt valued, trusted, and motivated to give their best. It is within that culture that ACME was founded and grew into the technology company it is today a company that carries his spirit of service and excellence into every client relationship and every solution it delivers.
Beyond his central role at AIG, Mr. Farouk Almoayyed gave generously of his time and expertise to a wide range of institutions that shaped Bahrain’s social and economic fabric. He held leadership positions at Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons, the National Bank of Bahrain, Bahrain Duty-Free, National Finance House, Ahlia University, Gulf Hotels Group, and Bahrain National Holding. He served on the Economic Development Board, chaired the Board of Trustees for Ibn Khuldoon National School, and contributed meaningfully to the Labour Market Regulatory Authority and the Shura Council. A committed philanthropist, he supported charitable causes with the same quiet determination that characterised everything he did. His relentless work ethic and pioneering mindset touched every institution he was part of, leaving each one stronger and more purposeful for his involvement.
